Dai Yun is a children’s book author. She received a BA from the School of Foreign Languages, Nanjing University, and MA from the University of New South Wales, Australia. Sudan’s Rhino Horn, Where Do We Go?, The Wandering Chicken, and Kiri Tree are among her most notable pieces. Her works have won a number of prestigious national awards in China, including being named one of the Recommended Books by the National Library of China’s Wenjing Book Award, as well as the first prize in the 7th Feng Zikai Children’s Picture Book Award, which is considered the highest Chinese picture book honor.
