After retiring from the China Children’s Press and Publishing House, Zhou Xu began to focus on writing. He enjoys painting, photography, collecting stamps, fishing, and traveling. He began creating picture books again when he was 50 years old. His works include Playing Snowball, Heavy Snow Can’t Cover the Way Home, Pull The Turnip, The House Full of Holes, Little Rabbit Who Likes to Wear an Apron, and others.
